This little sweetie was just perfectly scrumptious. I asked her Mama to fill out some wishes for her little girl and here is her response.
Okay, I've only cried two or three times while trying to fill this out!
I hope that you: know what a blessing you are

I hope that you aren't afraid: to always try new things
I hope you love: your siblings as much as they already love you

I hope you get: to see a lot of this big, beautiful world
I hope you laugh: lots and lots!
I hope you never forget: how very much your Mommy and Daddy love you
I hope you ignore: anyone or anything that makes you feel less than the wonderful, beautiful little person God made you to be
I hope you become: strong, kind and loving
I hope you respect: the differences in others
I hope you grow: old and happy with the love of your family and friends

I am excited to share another client showcase of Twenty Questions. I love being able to feature my clients who are fun, down to earth and just beautiful inside and out.
I do have to say I really think I would pay a million dollars if I could get my hair to look even half as good as Rachel's does in these photos. Sooo, so envious of the smooth curls - adorable.
So without further ado I present twenty questions with Rachel's family...
We are:
Brandon, Rachel and Jamisen. We met on a blind date at a bowling alley where Brandon brought his own ball and shoes! After we got married we were blessed with this little guy, who keeps amazing us over and over every day.
The best thing about our family is:
Our son! We share a lot of interests such as hunting and cars. Teaching him to do these things is something we look forward to doing together.
One of our hopes & dreams as a family is:
To share as much time together as possible, camping, boating, snowmobiling together and exploring Gods creation many different ways.
If we had a million dollars we would: not have any left.
A fun night staying in for us is:
Yummy home made food, or our favorite pizza place, toys and games and lots of laughs with Jamisen and an action movie for after he is in bed.
A fun night out for us is:
Not very common, but is always different and rarely in the city.
One of the silliest things about our family is:
That there is always music on one of our devices around the house, and the dancing is always goofy with our little head bobber leading the way.
Mountain hideaway or beach resort:
Always, mountain hideaway.
Our favorite place to go out to eat is:
Logans, those dinner rolls are delicious. But we find ourselves at Applebees a lot.

One thing no one knows about our family is (until now):
We are DVR junkies. And criminal minds is our guilty pleasure.
Do you love hugs or kisses best?
We don't hug that much around here unless we're trying to bear hug Jamisen into giving us kisses.
Our favorite type of music is:
Country
If we had to choose a wardrobe from our favorite store it would be:
A place that has everything. We love to dress for all occasions. But usually we find ourselves in jeans and a sweatshirt.
Our favorite sports team: GO SPARTIES and GO LIONS!
If we were an ice cream flavor we would be:
Moosetracks. We dont eat ice cream much, but Brandon likes vanilla and i like lots of goodies in mine.
The thing that makes us laugh the most is:
When Jamisen does funny things. Yesterday we were laughing hysterically with Jamisen. He was taking his first steps and he thought it was a game while we kept sending him back and forth to each other to see him do it over and over and over again.
If you could give any gift as a family what would it be:
The gift of life. We are so blessed to have Jamisen, and even more to know that we have eternity together.
What is your favorite day of the week and why?
Sundays are the best because its the only day we are together every single week. Its always filled with relaxation and family.
Do you have a pet and if so what does your pet do that drives you crazy?
We regrettably have no pets right now, but would love to get a daw-gee (as Jamisen says) someday.
We LOVE our images because:
They are our first family portraits and are so beautifully done. They are crafty and show the spirit of our personalities.

How delightful seeing these beautiful children in photos. And your girls are really growing and I hear so sweet. Have a wonderful year! We were in Rockford during Christmas and loved being with Jackson and getting to know him. Such a precious sweetheart!

Welcome to another installment of Twenty Questions and this adorable family. Although I love every session I shoot I do have to tell you this session with just one little one was soooo easy and super fun. I think her Mom had her doubts on capturing a great family photo and I was so thrilled to give her many, many images that captured the beautiful bond their family shares.
Meet the stunning family of Dave, Sue & Grace:
The best thing about our family is: We all like to travel and experience new places and new things to do. So, we are always ready for a new adventure!
One of our hopes & dreams as a family is: We hope to keep having extended family holiday gatherings and celebrations in our historic home for years to come.
If we had a million dollars we would: Buy a historic cottage in Northern Michigan on the waterfront. (I love these two images. I said "Grace how old are you?" and apparently she is 3 going on 10 - HA!)
A fun night staying in for us is: We love family movie night where we stay in and watch a DVD from our Disney collection. A current favorite is Mary Poppins!
A fun night out for us is: We are just beginning to experience the fun phenomenon of going out as a family, Grace is really just old enough to do fun things at night. So far, we like to go to shows which feature a lot of music like The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Disney on Ice, etc.
One of the silliest things about our family is: We sometimes like to eat breakfast for dinner! Seriously, that is about as silly as we get, we should probably lighten up a little more!
Mountain hideaway or beach resort: Beach resort, who wouldn't love building sand castles with a three year old?!!
Our favorite place to go out to eat is: We love breakfast at Wolfgang's (mmm, blueberry pancakes) or the Wealthy Street Bakey (giant blueberry muffins). We also like to go to dinner at Marie Catrib's (Grace loves PB&J made with Marie's homemade jam) or Johnny B'z (Hot dogs Chicago style, yum!)

One thing no one knows about our family is (until now): We have bat drills with Grace so that if there's ever a bat in her room, she will know what to do.
Do you love hugs or kisses best? Hugs rule! Grace likes to give what she calls "Jumping Jelly" hugs, where she jumps up into our arms and squeezes her arms tight around our neck while bending her knees to lift her feet into the air! Fun!
Our favorite type of music is: We love to listen to music, we do that more than we watch television. At home we play everything from Disney to Broadway show tunes to current hits. In the car, the Mary Poppins soundtrack is at the top of the family playlist.
If we had to choose a wardrobe from our favorite store it would be: We don't all agree on one store! Grace loves Hanna Andersson, Sue loves J. Jill, and Dave really has no favorite, or so he says.
Our favorite sports team: Chicago Cubs, we go to several games every year together as a family.
If we were an ice cream flavor we would be: Probably Mackinac Island Fudge, because we love vacationing there.
The thing that makes us laugh the most is: The funny things that Grace will say out of the blue.
If you could give any gift as a family what would it be: We would give everyone the gift of endless weekends, with lots of family time!
What is your favorite day of the week and why? Saturday because we often get to spend the whole day together AND there's still one more day left in the weekend!
Do you have a pet and if so what does your pet do that drives you crazy? We have three pets - two dogs and one cat. Their shedding drives us crazy!
We__love__ our images because: they are fun and colorful and full of life, and they make us look better than we do in person!
